You've been bloated for months. Your scopes came back clear. Your stool tests showed nothing. You've been told it's IBS and sent home with a dietary handout. But the bloating, the pain, the unpredictable bowels keep coming back. The problem might not be in your large intestine at all. It could be happening higher up, in your small intestine, where bacteria simply do not belong in large numbers.
Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth, or SIBO, is one of the most under-diagnosed root causes of persistent digestive symptoms. It occurs when bacteria migrate into the small intestine and start fermenting undigested food, producing excess gas and interfering with nutrient absorption. The SIBO Breath Test is the standard non-invasive method for diagnosing this condition, and at NutraNourish, Dr Menka Gupta personally translates the results into a personalised, root-cause healing plan.
