How It Works

The OAT is a simple, non-invasive urine test done entirely at home. You collect your first morning urine sample before eating or drinking anything. Once collected, the sample is frozen for a minimum of 1 day before being packed in the thermal bag provided and shipped to the lab. A few things to note before testing: avoid apples, grapes, raisins, cranberries, pears, and their juices for 48 hours beforehand, and check with your practitioner about pausing certain supplements like arabinogalactan, reishi mushrooms, echinacea, and ribose for 3 days prior to collection. Results are typically ready within 2 to 4 weeks.
