    Omega-3 fatty acids — particularly EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) — are essential components of cell membranes throughout the body. They cannot be produced in sufficient quantities by the body alone and must come from diet or supplementation. Suboptimal omega-3 levels are widespread and have been associated with increased cardiovascular risk, chronic inflammation, cognitive decline, and hormonal imbalance.

    What The Test Evaluates

    The Omega-3 Deficiency Test measures 24 individual fatty acids across the following categories:

    How The Test Works

    The test is carried out using a small finger-prick blood spot sample collected at home using the provided kit. The dried blood spot is then sent to the certified laboratory for analysis using a validated and standardised methodology used in over 200 published research studies.

    Results are delivered within 2–4 weeks of the laboratory receiving the sample and include a personalised report with reference ranges and individual fatty acid levels.

    Preparation Guidelines
