Sample Collection

The test uses a simple stool sample collected privately at home. The kit arrives in a discreet package with a collection container, a small vial containing preservative liquid, and clear step-by-step instructions. You collect a small stool sample using the provided scoop, place it into the vial, shake it to mix with the preservative, and seal it. The liquid stabilises the DNA so it remains intact during transit. You then pack it into the prepaid shipping envelope and schedule a courier pickup. Results are typically returned within one month of the lab receiving your sample.

No fasting is required. Eat your normal diet before testing so the results reflect your typical gut environment. Avoid taking probiotics or antibiotics for a few weeks prior to collection if possible.
