Ther-Biotic® InterFase® is a unique enzyme formulation that is specially designed to disrupt the biofilm matrix that can be created by microbes as protective barrier within the intestine.
We selected enzymes for Ther-Biotic® InterFase® based on their ability to disintegrate the extracellular polymers commonly found in biofilms and to degrade cell wall structures of bacteria and yeast.
The enzyme blend in Ther-Biotic® InterFase® was developed using in vitro testing of antibiofilm activity and was found to have significant antibiofilm activity resulting in meaningful degradation of undesirable biofilm communities.
